In 2006 I lead the Civil Rights Mosaic Mural project in which students at Hendricks Academy in Chicago’s Fuller Park neighborhood created a series of four mosaic murals commemorating the Civil Rights Movement. The image to the left documents a mural dedicated to Ruby Bridges and the 7th grade class that participated in making the mural.
